Little Miss Sunshine

So little time. Whiteness abounds. Art is everywhere, waiting to be born.

No matter how ragged my edges become, no matter how worn my material, I am art. I am.

She has been incredibly helpful in giving advice and tips on our upcoming trip to India. I am excited to possibly meet her in Delhi! She also has awesome goals:)

Because her strength shines through her and has the power to light up New York City. Because she is made of steel, wrapped in a lovely spirit, and is a bright, bright star in my sky.

Because she is gorgeously funny and whitty and makes me want to tell all those haters to eat it.

Not only is she a great writer, it appears Bryanne can cook! And I love Middle Eastern food. Bryanne writes her life stories in raw emotion and doesn’t sugar glaze anything. And still she is incredibly sweet. She tugs at my heart strings. Bryanne, I could learn a thing or two from you.

She is an amazingly brilliant lady with lots of oomph and oooh and laaalaaa in her posts :) Just the way I like it!

Homegirl and I met alllll the way back in highschool, when I was a sophomore and she was a freshman. We were both in the same entrepreneurial class (period 4 right?) We found out that we had a lot of issues in common and soon blossomed into best friends. We were at one time planning on running away together to New Orleans. Star and Violet Reyes were going to be our alias’:)

Sadly our plans didnt work out and I moved away to California, then to Texas. Finally, when I got married and moved to Hawaii, we were able connect. She moved in with me right after graduating, and things were great, for awhile.

I was pregnant with child number 2 and extremely hormonal and territorial (ugh) and we ended up bickering most of the time and I was a raving mad woman. She left before thanksgiving in 99’ and moved back to Washington!

I guess I am thankful for the fact that she met her daughter’s father while living with us in Hawaii. So things always have a way of working out.

Anyway now we finally reconnected after years and I am excited to see what’s new in her life!
